In-Person Class Requests
- Students and teacher agree to wear masks during our class time together.
- We will offer physical space to our fellow students and check in with each about our comfort levels.
- If we are feeling any kind of sickness (even in a coming down with something or getting over something kind of way) we will stay home and rest or access the online option in respect and care for our fellow students. If we live in close proximity to someone who isn't feeling well, I suggest the same! Let's use technology to support greater health, wellness and community care.
- If we participate in a large in-door gathering or are returning from major travel, we will wait a week before attending in person classes and know that we are welcome to join online.
Gina Greene, e-RYT 500 has been enjoying the practice of yoga for over twenty years. She began teaching seventeen years ago upon request and hasn't turned away from the invitation since. Gina took her first yoga class in NYC at The Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center where her heart was smitten. She was delighted to discover Melissa Spamer offering TriYoga flows when she moved back to Michigan with her husband. Gina first explored certification for the Basics Series with Kali Ray's TriYoga system. She went on to complete her 200 and 500 hour yoga teacher training certification through Melissa Spamer's school, Lotus in the Flame. Melissa's deeply lived experience of yoga and reflection along with her dedication and extensive training with yoga and ayurvedic practitioners has been a gift. Gina is so grateful for the richness offered her, the ground from which her unique understanding of yoga could root and her awareness could rise. She has been touched, inspired and deeply seen by her teacher and has the utmost gratitude for the many other teachers (some from the world of yoga and many, many others) who have supported her wondering spirit, desire for learning and her continual journey of... becoming. |
The work of the body is mysterious and layered and the physical postures are available to us as a means to explore
the terrain, to strengthen, to lengthen, to lavish attention and establish patterns of healing, ease, and understanding. -gg
