Gina Greene
Licensed Massage Therapist
-twenty years of consistent practice-
As of February 1st, 2022: I will be employed by The Ayurvedic Wellness Center. Scheduling will be completed through the center although you are still welcome to reach out to me with any questions you might have about how we might work together. I am excited to share that I will be training in Ayurvedic Bodywork Therapies throughout the year and you will be able to experience some of them on their own or added to traditional massage sessions. It is deeply nourishing work that promotes healing, energy and the calm of heart-centered connection. I look forward to sharing more about these therapies as I learn more, experience and begin to offer them in sessions!
I agree to meet you with an open heart, willingness and a desire to listen attentively. I look forward to the conversation that might emerge between us as your body speaks via the breath, the feeling plane, the tone of the tissue, the response of the fascia and the tenor of the words you choose to share. Healing touch encourages our bodies intelligence to flourish, to be heard and integrated. Sometimes we need assistance to slow down, to release the tension of this life and to hear our own wild wisdom. We might be grateful for helpful hands and support as we reach for and bring acceptance, wonder, and transformation into being.
In our work together, I will offer a fluid integration of some of the following techniques: Therapeutic, Deep-tissue or Swedish Massage, Acupressure, Reflexology, Myofascial Release, Energy Balancing and/or Cranio-Sacral Techniques. My 520-hour training and apprenticeship at The Kalamazoo Center for the Healing Arts was invaluable and I am full of gratitude for the evolution of this work in my life.
